From its prime position, the stone house Poggio agli Sprizzi offers panoramic views. Spanning two floors, it provides a total living space of about 130 square metres and can host up to 8 adults and 2 children.
Situated in the grounds of our mansion and of our very special agri-camping, but totally independent, the house is surrounded by Mediterranean shrub, olive groves and organic vineyards; with a 360° degree view of Lacona Bay, the Stella Gulf, Capoliveri and the green hill-crest that defines the valley to the north.
Through large windows, the wild island of Montecristo stands out on the horizon and, when it murmurs, you can hear the voice of the sea: Lacona’s large sandy shore, which is protected by the last sand dunes of the archipelago, is only a 5 minutes’ walk away through the pine trees.
Built in 2020 according ecological criteria, the house has received a Class A energy rating. Its energy-efficiency stems from the 5 kw photovoltaic roof, which also powers the heat pump for the hot water system; a low thermal delta floor system for summer air conditioning and winter heating; and a ventilated roof that helps to keep the rooms cool in summer and dry in winter. The building is also protected from radon risk.
Complete with fine furnishings and finishes, and offering all comforts, it has 3 satellite TVs, Wi-Fi, an electric induction cooktop, combi oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, ironing board, washing machine, hair dryer, air conditioning and a wood-burning, double-sided fireplace. The beds and mattresses are of high-quality and ergonomic pillows are available.
The top floor of the Poggio agli Sprizzi house features a bathroom and living area, where the kitchen and open-space living room are flanked, on the western side, by a spacious and bright bio-climatic veranda with opening windows that offer a wonderful view of the Gulf of Lacona; a large sofa bed, separated by a pass-through bookcase, allows you to have additional sleeping spaces aside from those in the sleeping quarters.
On the eastern side, a panoramic patio and terrace – facing the Stella gulf and Capoliveri – with a garden, deckchairs, table, barbecue, outdoor stone shower and Jacuzzi.
The lower floor features 3 bedrooms and a second bathroom. The two main bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and a single bed. The third bedroom, which has a separate entrance, features a queen size sofa bed (which can be split into two single beds) and a shared kitchen, in case some of the guests wish to have greater independence.
The vast grounds include a private car park equipped with a charging station for electric cars, and also offer space for tents, campers, caravans or equipped vans, in case some friends who love open air holidays would like to join us.
In the agritourism setting, you can also enjoy the market café & rural restaurant and other guest services, such as taking part in guided excursions. Around the corner from the property you can also rent e-bikes, scooters, cars, canoes etc.
