Do I need to book ahead? Or can I just show up?

Booking isn’t required. However, it is recommended during high season (mid-June to mid-September) and the Easter holidays, it’s highly recommended, especially for the larger pitches and/or pitches with views of the sea.

When are the glamping tents and yurt available?

Because the glamping tents and the yurts are not heated, we only offer them from May 1 to September 30. You may also book outside of these dates, but please remember that nighttime temperatures can drop suddenly at the beginning and end of the summer season. Guests will find blankets in the tents. If you are not visiting during high season in the summer, we recommend bringing sleeping bags.

Do you offer a choice of full or half board?

Half board or full board is not included. Our Rural Bistro – Market Café is open from mid-April 10 to end-October serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

No, open flames are prohibited by law due to the risk of forest fires.

Can I park my car or motorcycle on the campsite?

You may pull your car up to the campsite for loading and unloading, but you must then park it in the designated spaces located nearby. For guests with special needs, cars may be parked on the edges or on some of the larger campsites, but you must not move your car during quiet hours.

Yes, each campsite is located near a power connection.

What kind of electrical sockets do the campsites have?

The campsites are equipped with standard European electrical sockets.

What is the voltage of the power connections in the camping area?

Yes, hot water is available both in summer and in winter, without any specific time restrictions. However, we do ask our guests to use water sparingly and to be aware that this is a scarce and precious resource, especially on an island.

If I am staying in the camper park, can I pay to use the toilets and showers in the camping area?

No, unfortunately guests staying in the low-cost, minimal use area cannot use the showers and toilets in the camping area. Current regulations require that the capacities of the showers and toilets in the actual camping area correspond to the number of guests staying there.

What is your cancellation policy?

Until 8 weeks before the arrival date, it’s possible to cancel the booking without costs, except the booking fare (10 €).
A cancellation, for any reason, between 8 and 2 weeks before the arrival will require the payment of 30% of the booked and unused period.
A cancellation, for any reason, until 2 weeks before the arrival, as well as missed arrival or early departure, will require the payment of 90% of the booked and unused period.

This is to compensate us for the financial loss resulting from any booking slots left unoccupied because the change has been made on such short notice. We do not ask our guests to give us their credit card number. We trust that they will act responsibly.

For reasons of force majeure, not foreseen at the time of booking, connected to the Corona Virus SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, it will be possible to cancel without cost, except the booking fare (10 €), up to one week before the scheduled arrival: in the event of changes in the rules on movements established by the Italian institutions or by the country of origin or in the event that the guest is forced to quarantine.

The discount is of between 8% to 20% depending on time, day of the week, season, etc. Moby & Toremar tickets are usually more expensive, but the companies offer rides  almost once an hour.  The discount is 20%. Once you get the code from us, you can purchase the ticket through the website of the company selected. The code of Moby & Toremar is valid also at the harbour.
